🎬 Black History Month Film Screening: Me, Period – hosted by Planned Parenthood

February 28 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
🎬 Black History Month Film Screening: Me, Period
Join us for a powerful evening celebrating Black women leading the charge toward equitable care and reproductive freedom. This educational and inclusive screening invites our community into an important conversation around awareness, dignity, and collective responsibility.
Me, Period, produced and narrated by Tabitha Brown, shines a light on menstrual inequity in the United States — sharing real stories from young girls, advocates, and leaders working to break stigma and expand access to essential care. The film challenges us to rethink how we support menstrual health and inspires tangible action so no one’s potential is limited by lack of access to basic necessities.
Hosted in partnership with Planned Parenthood, this event uplifts the ongoing work to advance reproductive health, rights, and justice through compassionate care, education, and advocacy.
Come watch. Learn. Reflect. Act.
